Ellen's lens reflects the foundation of professional practice with roles as educator, supervisor, trainer, author and regulatory/certification specialist. Her passion is infectious whether serving as Adjunct Faculty for George Mason University's College of Health & Human Services, lead Clinical Supervision Certification Trainer for the National Association of Social Workers of Virginia, Clinical Social Work Supervisor for licensing candidates, Exam Item Writer for licensing and certification entities, or Editorial Board member for Lippincott's Professional Case Management.
Ellen is a Commissioner for the Commission for Case Manager Certification, member of their Executive Committee, and Chair of their Ethics and Professional Conduct Committee. Distinguished by awards and honors, she has served in leadership roles at both the state and national levels for a variety of professional associations.
Ellen is a Certified Case Manager, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Rehabilitation Provider.
